Electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), commonly referred to as vapes or e-cigarettes, are devices that generate an inhalable aerosol from a liquid. Our ENDS take-back kits are designed to meet DOT requirements (49 CFR, UN3481). Program availability varies by state. ENDS stands for Electronic Nicotine Delivery System as defined by the FDA — a battery-powered device that produces an aerosol. At the time of this publication, many regulatory agencies have not yet settled on standardized terminology for the devices or their components.
